Book reveiw for ACB with Honora Lee
ACB with Honora Lee by Kate De Goldi. If you're a person that like comedy and sadness you're the on to read ACB with Honora Lee.
This book is about a girl named Perry she helps her Gran (Honora) that has Alzheimer's to learn her ABC by making an ABC book instead an ACB book for Gran to keep because has Alzheimer's and this is caused by brain cell death.
The main characters are Perry and Gran.Perry is an outgoing ,anxious, active, friendly person .That has parents that don't believe her when she says something Gran did that was spectacular. Gran is a very grumpy hard to speak to and make her laugh type of person that can't remember perry's dads name and doesn't know that He's her son.
My likings of the book is that the author made it really hilarious at the start. The thing i didn't like was the ending was to short and it had to many pictures. I rate this book 9 out of 10. my recommendation would be a senior because the theme in the book can really teach us something about empathy and understanding.

Purple
Purple tastes like grape juice
getting sculled down your throat.
It smells like violet flowers spreading purple nectar.
It looks like berries on a tree
with magenta flowers popping up on the amethyst leaves.
It sounds like royal purple ruling
the land of heather.
It feels like plums turns my tongue
mulberry.
Purple.
